Animal security and biosecurity are at the core of everything we do. Our Cherry Valley ducks are housed in a purpose built barn designed to provide a clean, secure, and comfortable environment. The barn offers excellent ventilation and full protection from predators, while also significantly reducing the current high risk of exposure to avian influenza – an important safeguard given the ongoing challenges of bird flu across the UK.
Our ducks are fed a high quality, high protein diet on an ad-lib basis, allowing them to eat freely whenever they choose. This supports consistent egg production and promotes strong overall health. In addition, they have constant access to fresh, clean water sourced from our private farm borehole. This not only provides essential drinking water but also allows the ducks to bathe and wash, supporting their natural behaviour and wellbeing.
