Work Began
In 2024, we purchased our land with a clear vision:to build a purpose designed duck farm focused on welfare, quality, and long term sustainability. Work began immediately on developing the infrastructure required to operate at a professional scale. This included: construction of our specially designed barn, our fresh borehole water supply, solar and batteries electric supply, predator protection, feeding systems.

Flock Arrives
After months of planning and construction, in June we reached a major milestone. we received our first flock of 500 Cherry Valley ducks. This was the moment our vision truly came to life. Seeing the barn in operation confirmed all the preparation and hard work had been worthwhile. The flock settled quickly into their new home which benefited from spacious well ventilated housing, constant fresh water supply, high quality high protein feed provided ad-lib, and a calm and careful managed routine.

Our first Egg
In August another huge moment for us as first generation farmers. We collected our very first egg!! This was a defining moment for the farm- over 12 months of planning and hard work had produced what we had been waiting for.

Scotch Eggs
In September we took the next step into adding further value to our produce and began producing our own handcrafted Scotch Eggs. We wanted to create a premium product and made the decision to only source high quality Cornish pork that reflected the same standards we hold on our farm. The response was immediate and overwhelmingly positive. What started as an additional product has turned into one of our most popular offerings.

Our First Award
Just three months after collecting our first eggs, we entered the Taste of the West Awards in November 2025. We were delighted and extremely proud to receive a Silver Award, recognising the quality and care behind our produce. This early success, cemented the fact we are on the correct path, and encouraged us to continue improving and strive towards achieving a Gold Award

December Christmas Markets
In December we committed to three continuous weeks of Christmas markets with our scotch eggs. Once again the response exceeded our expectations. Our scotch eggs proved to be a stand out product throughout the festive season, gaining repeat customers and receiving strong word of mouth recommendations. The Christmas Markets were a major milestone in establishing our brand and demonstrating the strength and demand for our products.
